Job Summary
Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals to meet and exceed sales targets. Educate customers on vehicle features, financing, and aftermarket products while conducting needs assessments to recommend appropriate options. Negotiate terms and pricing to close sales transactions efficiently, then complete necessary paperwork to finalize deals. Provide exceptional customer service from initial contact through delivery, maintaining CRM records and following up post-sale to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with the finance department and service team to achieve sales objectives and deliver a cohesive customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in automotive sales or a related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics and a thorough understanding of prices, models, series, options, and other variations of the selling manufacturers' products, as well as competitive products and prices
- Self-motivated and ethical with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- High motivation, work ethic, and enthusiasm with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use a computer and navigate through a custom CRM
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
- Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays
- Must adhere to the dress code
