Job Summary
B Technician at Auto Pro Alcoa performs maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering; uses diagnostic equipment; collaborates with team to coordinate repair schedules; documents repairs and parts; adheres to safety guidelines; maintains organized workspace; emphasizes customer service and continuous learning. Hours are 8AM-6PM Monday–Friday with pay in the $50k–$65k range.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational training/certification in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician, mechanic, or similar role.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vehicle components, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
