Job Summary
Sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing vehicles for cosmetic paintwork in a high-tech Inspection Center. Perform tasks including tear down and unbagging to prepare cars for paint application. Work in a fast-paced production environment while operating vehicle equipment and tools, lifting up to 60 pounds independently. Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to work in varying weather conditions. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience
- Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician
- prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- ability to work in excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
