Job Summary
The Manager in Training will travel to several Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts stores in the area while training to become Store Manager. Responsibilities include managing store operations, purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel functions, plus direct over-the-counter sales, deliveries, and order processing (in person or by phone). Supports sales programs and customer/team activities to drive store success; opportunities to advance within the company once trained. Requires leadership, coaching, inventory management, customer service, and the ability to train and evaluate staff; travel between area stores and perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (or motivation to pursue GED)
- Two years of professional auto parts experience or four years of hobbyist auto parts experience
- Valid driver’s license (Class E required for all Missouri locations) and clean driving record
- ASE certifications preferred
