Job Summary
Manage sales and profitability for a Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store by supervising 2-25 associates in purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work. Provide direct customer service, take in-person and phone orders, and promote sales programs to grow store profits. Direct daily operations including inventory management, staff training, hiring, and performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Generate new sales accounts through cold calling and customer visits. Maintain call logs and attend required meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least 2 years of auto parts experience
- Management experience
- ASE certifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with web browsing and the Microsoft Office suite of products
- A valid driver's license with good driving record (Class E license is required for Missouri locations)

- Must be able to be exposed to vibration
- Must be able to be frequently exposed to moderate noise
- Must pass post offer, pre-employment drug testing
