Job Summary
The Paint Counter Salesperson provides over-the-counter direct sales to customers, takes in-person and phone orders, and promotes sales programs at Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts. Responsibilities include mixing paint, assisting customers with automotive paint and parts inquiries, handling cash transactions, prioritizing delivery orders, handling core returns, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Candidates should demonstrate customer service skills, the ability to work in a team, and adhere to company safety guidelines. A high school diploma and automotive parts experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
- At least one year of professional automotive parts experience or two years of hobbyist automotive parts experience
- Valid driver's license (Class E required for all Missouri locations) and clean driving record
- Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and Microsoft Office
