Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
• •at least one year of professional automotive parts experience
• •two years of hobbyist automotive parts experience
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• •Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
• •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• •Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• •Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• •basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• •Valid driver's license (Class E required for all Missouri locations)

• •Must be able to handle cash and credit transactions
• •Must be able to properly invoice/credit customer accounts
• •Must be able to prioritize the order of delivery items and assign deliveries to drivers, if applicable
• •Must be able to correctly handle new and defective core returns from customers
• •Must be able to insure proper customer credit and complete necessary paperwork
• •Must be able to work home store inventory/assist in other location's inventory, if assigned
• •Must be able to clean (pick-up trash, sweep, mop, etc.) and maintain inside and outside of building area
• •Must be able to perform any other tasks as assigned
• •Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
