Job Summary
Assess customer needs and determine delivery priorities to ensure timely, efficient routes for automotive parts, paint, and body shop supplies. Review orders for completeness before delivery, check freight and stock, and handle cash and credit transactions. Maintain a clean, well-running vehicle and facility by performing routine inspections, sweeping, mopping, and dusting shelves. Safely operate a vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions while adhering to road laws and company policy. Provide exceptional customer service by answering phones, waiting on clients, and managing difficult situations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
- Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations)
