Job Summary
Prioritize deliveries, review orders for completeness, and deliver automotive replacement parts, paint, and body shop supplies from retail locations. Maintain a clean driving record, safely operate vehicles in various conditions, and perform routine vehicle maintenance. Check freight and stock, handle cash transactions, and assist with inventory tasks when assigned. Provide exceptional customer service by answering phones and addressing inquiries. Maintain a clean facility by sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves. Adhere to scheduled work times and follow all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- motivation to pursue a GED
- Automotive parts experience
- customer service experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
