Job Summary
Prioritize deliveries, review orders for completeness, and deliver automotive replacement parts, paint, and body shop supplies from retail locations. Assess customer needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and answer telephone inquiries while maintaining a clean driving record. Perform routine vehicle maintenance, sweep and mop facilities, and assist with inventory checks. Adhere to scheduled work time and road laws while driving in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
- Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Ability to occasionally sit, climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
