Job Summary
Prioritize deliveries by determining the most timely and efficient route, then receive and review orders for completeness before executing the drop. Maintain a clean and well-running vehicle through routine maintenance and inspections while adhering to road laws and company safety policies. Provide exceptional customer service by assessing needs, handling cash and credit transactions, answering phones, and waiting on clients. Perform store inventory tasks, sweep and mop the facility, and assist with stock retrieval as assigned. Work full-time hours in various weather and traffic conditions, maintaining a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
- Automotive parts and/or customer service experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations)
