Job Summary
Prioritize deliveries by determining the most timely and efficient routes, then receive and review orders for completeness before transporting automotive parts, paint, and body shop supplies to retail locations. Maintain a clean, well-running vehicle through routine inspections and adhere to all road laws while operating in various weather and traffic conditions. Handle cash and credit transactions, answer telephone inquiries, and assist with store inventory or facility cleaning as assigned. Deliver exceptional customer service by assessing needs and meeting quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- motivation to pursue a GED
- Automotive parts experience
- customer service experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- basic computer knowledge including web browsing

- Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations)
