Job Summary
Determine delivery priorities and route efficiently for automotive replacement parts, heavy-duty components, and body shop supplies. Receive, review, and process orders for completeness before delivery while maintaining a clean driving record. Provide exceptional customer service by assessing needs, handling cash and credit transactions, and answering telephone inquiries. Maintain the delivery vehicle through routine inspections and perform facility upkeep including sweeping, mopping, and restocking inventory. Adhere to road laws and company safety policies while driving in various weather and traffic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED
- Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations)
