Job Summary
The Parts Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area, delivering to the dealership and maintaining safe driving within posted limits. Responsibilities include delivering and picking up parts to various locations, building long-term relationships with customers and vendors, maintaining a distribution log, inspecting and maintaining vehicles/assets, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety policies and company procedures. Requires 1+ year parts-delivery experience, a valid WA driver's license, professional appearance, ability to multi-task, operate transit vans or trucks (automatic and manual), and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year experience as a parts delivery driver
- A valid Washington driver's license and clean DMV driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Able to multi-task
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles including Transit Vans or Trucks in tight and small spaces
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond
- Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members
- Must have a high-energy personality
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Self-starter and self-motivator
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Parts Department experience a PLUS!!
