Job Summary
Conduct direct sales to customers in-person and by phone for aftermarket automotive replacement parts, auto paint, and body shop supplies. Assist customers in determining parts needs, research inventory status and pricing, and pull appropriate parts to complete orders. Process cash and credit transactions, handle core returns, and manage incoming inventory by putting up stock. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and perform assigned training to develop product knowledge. Demonstrate courteous conduct, cooperate with coworkers, and drive a vehicle safely in various conditions. Complete online training programs and adhere to safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- motivation to pursue a GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- basic computer knowledge including web browsing and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license (Class E required for all Missouri locations)

- Ability to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Ability to occasionally sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
