Job Summary
Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, or online by identifying parts through vehicle models and cross-referencing specifications. Provide expert recommendations for upgrades, resolve complaints, and conduct outbound calls to promote new products and build relationships. Accurately enter orders into the system, verify availability, and manage inventory by organizing the counter and warehouse to ensure proper storage and labeling. Prepare shipments for pickup or delivery, process returns and exchanges, and maintain clean, safe work environments while following all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in retail or automotive parts sales
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and accessories
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems and inventory tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Candidates must meet employment eligibility requirements as established by U.S. federal law
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- College coursework or certification in automotive or sales
