Job Summary
Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, buffing, and repairing them thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards. Maintain the paint booth and workspace to ensure an efficient workflow while cooperating directly with the Auto Painter. Perform consistent physical activity including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs. Prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment using state-of-the-art 3M Collision Repair Products. Begin accruing paid vacation and holidays day one with access to I-CAR and ASE training.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
- Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
- Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous collision experience
- Collision Vo-Tech certification
