Job Summary
Prepare color tint to match paint color, mix paint colors, and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coatings, and curing meet OEM recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing, and materials usage. Complete all paint operations, remove masking, and reassemble prior paint-related disassembly before returning the vehicle to the body technician. This role requires consistent physical activity including reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting objects over 50 lbs, along with the ability to read instructions and work orders in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
