Job Summary
Refinish all assigned vehicles to pre-accident condition according to written work-orders, effectively diagnose and refinish vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably per Classic SOPs, insurance partner, and OEM guidelines. Prepare color tint to match paint, mix colors, and ensure formulations, preparations, top coating, and curing meet OEM standards for proper application sequence, timing, and materials usage. Follow all paint manufacturing guidelines, assist in prep work when necessary, and ensure all masking is removed and prior disassembly is reassembled before returning the vehicle to the body technician. Adhere to regulatory compliance for hazardous waste disposal, maintain a clean work area, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- 2-5 years automotive refinishing experience
- Successful completion of background check required
- Must comply with all safety requirements, respirator safety, and fitment/usage
- Must maintain compliance to pass required safety mask fit test
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be able to use hands regularly
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time
- Must be able to reach with hands, and arms and move objects up to 20 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR certification preferred
