Auto Paint Technician

Job Summary
Refinish all assigned vehicles to pre-accident condition by effectively diagnosing, mixing paint colors, and ensuring formulations meet OEM standards. Prepare color tints, follow paint manufacturing guidelines, and assist in prep work when necessary. Ensure all paint operations are complete, remove masking, and reassemble disassembled parts before returning vehicles to the body technician. Adhere to regulatory compliance for hazardous waste disposal and maintain a clean, organized work area. Perform other related duties as assigned while complying with safety requirements and respirator fit tests. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and 2-5 years of automotive refinishing experience. I-CAR certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License Required
- 2-5 years automotive refinishing experience
- Successful completion of background check required
- Must comply with all safety requirements, respirator safety, and fitment/usage
- Must maintain compliance to pass required safety mask fit test
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be able to use their hands
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time
- Must be able to reach with hands, and arms and move objects up to 20 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
Desired Qualifications
- I-CAR certification preferred
