Job Summary
Perform assigned diagnostic repair and maintenance on customer vehicles, including A/C and heater system checks, brake inspections, electrical charging system tests, clutch lubrication, cooling system adjustments, and starting/cranking system repairs. Execute preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks while tracking vehicle information per department processes. Assist with general shop duties like cleaning, organizing vehicle staging, and driving vehicles to/from customers. Provide prompt service to internal and external customers while maintaining a professional appearance and promoting teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license that meets the requirements
- Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow company operating procedures
- Interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment
- Hardworking, motivated team player
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 to 3 years of experience in automotive repair field
- 2 ASE Certifications
- Basic computer skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
