Auto Liability PD Claims Specialist

Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of auto liability and property damage claims from initial investigation through final resolution. Review assigned claims to determine the appropriate course of action, conduct thorough investigations involving coverage, liability, damages, and policy analysis, and maintain accurate documentation. Evaluate, negotiate, settle, or deny first- and third-party liability claims based on findings, prepare evaluations for settlement authority approval, and report adverse underwriting information. Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, vendors, attorneys, and internal partners while ensuring compliance with state regulations. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in an in-office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of auto liability and property damage claims handling experience
- Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License
- Strong analytical, investigative, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple claims and competing priorities
- Working knowledge of insurance policies, claim procedures, and applicable state regulations
- Experience working in an automated claims processing environment
- Knowledge of fraud detection and loss prevention practices
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners
Desired Qualifications
- Non-Standard Auto Insurance experience
- Multi-State Adjuster Licensing
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
