Job Summary
Operate and maintain automated potato grading machines to sort by size, weight, and quality; monitor performance, calibrate, troubleshoot basic issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet production goals; maintain records of grading, production totals, and equipment malfunctions; perform routine maintenance and adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with automated machinery or in a production environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Good communication and teamwork
