Job Summary
As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, repair vehicle glass using industry-leading technology, handling chips and cracks, managing work orders and customer documentation via Safelite MRM tech, promoting Safelite items, and maintaining professional customer service. Training provided in-house to learn the Safelite Way of Fitting under guidance from experienced technicians. Role requires driving company vehicles, operating tools and chemicals, and performing housekeeping tasks in the shop and vehicle. Must meet safety, licensing, and certification requirements; offers competitive weekly pay up to $19.75/hour, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent Preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Safelite SafeTech Certification (on-the-job training/completion)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (assist with up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand long periods, bend and twist
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English and technical directions
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with adherence to laws and surveillance policy
