Job Summary
Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee handles repairs, replacements and recalibrations for Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop with training provided. Responsibilities include performing glass repair/replacements, recalibrations of automotive safety systems, operating Safelite tools and technologies (e.g., True Seal, Ezi-Wire, GTS, MRM), driving company vehicles, delivering excellent customer service, communicating with customers, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Must have a High School Diploma/GED (Preferred), valid driver’s license, and Safelite SafeTech certification. Training pay starts at $20.25/hour and increases to $24.00/hour after certification; benefits, tuition reimbursement, and paid training are offered.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent Preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle (as required by law)
- Safelite SafeTech certification Required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
