Job Summary
Technician Trainee will be trained to become an auto glass technician. After completing the training program, the trainee will obtain the Safelite SafeTech certification and perform unsupervised glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations. Responsibilities include observing/assisting with installations and repairs, recalibrating automotive safety systems and performing diagnostic testing, providing additional services and products, studying and passing certification, operating company vehicles and tools, and maintaining professional conduct and customer service. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, a positive attitude, safety, and high-quality workmanship toward timely job completion. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Ability to read, write, and interpret English and technical directions
