Job Summary
Trainee will be trained to become an auto glass technician through hands-on and classroom training, observing and assisting in installing and repairing auto glass, recalibrating automotive safety systems, and studying to pass tests to become Safelite-certified. The role includes operating company vehicles/tools, performing diagnostic testing, providing additional services and products, and maintaining professional customer service while aiming for high-quality workmanship and timely completion of jobs. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent Preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English language and technical directions
- Willingness to participate in hands-on and classroom training to become Safelite-certified Technician
