Job Summary
A technician trainee will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician and, upon completion, will obtain the Safelite SafeTech certification. Responsibilities include observing/assisting with auto glass installation and repair, recalibrating automotive safety systems, troubleshooting and completing diagnostic testing, providing additional services/products, studying and passing tests to become certified, safely operating company vehicles and tools, and maintaining professional customer service while meeting quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle
- Willingness to learn and complete Safelite-certified Technician training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work flexible start/end times
- Ability to read and interpret English (technical directions)
- Ability to learn and use computerized diagnostic tools
