Job Summary
Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee role with Safelite. Trainees are trained hands-on and in the classroom to become Safelite-certified technicians, performing auto glass installation, repair, and recalibrations, and advancing toward technician status. Training includes observing and assisting with installations, recalibrations of automotive safety systems, driving company vehicles, using diagnostic tools, and providing additional services and products. Earns competitive starting pay ($23.50/hour) with increases post-training ($27.75/hour), plus incentives, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong customer service mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent Preferred
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
- Willingness to learn and complete Safelite certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various conditions
