Job Summary
Trainee will be trained to become an auto glass technician through hands-on and classroom training, observing/assisting in installing and repairing auto glass, recalibrating safety systems, and working toward Safelite-certified Technician status while upholding customer-focused service and quality standards. The role includes paid training with initial pay at $20.25/hour, progression to $24.00/hour after training and certification, benefits eligibility, tuition reimbursement, and opportunity to perform installations, recalibrations, and related services under Safelite guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate tools and equipment
- Ability to read/write English
- Professional demeanor and customer-service orientation
