Job Summary
Trainee will be trained to become an auto glass technician through hands-on and classroom instruction, ultimately earning the Safelite SafeTech certification. Primary duties include observing and assisting with auto glass installation and repair, recalibrating automotive safety systems, diagnosing issues, performing related services, operating company vehicles and tools, and upholding high quality and customer-service standards. The role emphasizes a paid training path, a positive attitude, safety, and contribution to timely, quality workmanship, with benefits and tuition reimbursement available upon progression.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (Preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and comply with safety policies
