Job Summary
As an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee, you will learn to install and repair auto glass and recalibrate automotive safety systems through paid hands-on and classroom training. Your role involves safely operating a company vehicle and utilizing company-issued tools. You will be responsible for preparing for a career as a Safelite-certified Technician by mastering installation techniques and maintaining a positive attitude. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and you must be comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
