Job Summary
Operate various equipment and vehicles for landscaping and maintenance of the Town's parks, trees, athletic fields, and grounds. Perform manual labor for grounds upkeep while maintaining a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mandatory overtime is required during snow removal operations on roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks. This role supports the Forestry & Grounds Division within the Department of Public Works, ensuring visible impact on outdoor spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Massachusetts Class B Commercial Driver's License
- CORI check
- mandatory drug testing upon hire
- Mandatory overtime required during snow removal from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks
