Job Summary
Perform diagnostics and maintenance of electrical systems on large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks, Dozers & Loaders, Hitachi Excavators & Mobile Crushers and Screens. Carry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical, CANBUS, air conditioning and control systems. Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance, reliability and safety. Assist with machine upgrades, electrical component replacements and commissioning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earthmoving industry.
- Demonstrated experience working with CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr or other large earthmoving equipment.
