Job Summary
Perform various unskilled production labor duties at assigned work stations as directed by the supervisor, including filling in for other production employees due to absences or production needs. Work regularly in wet, humid conditions with moving mechanical parts, lifting up to 75 pounds, and adhering to safety and security procedures. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while applying common sense to carry out simple instructions and meet productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to regularly walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally climb or balance
- Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
