The Auto Damage Field Appraiser is responsible for remote inspections and appraisals of vehicle and equipment damage, providing exceptional customer service while adhering to regulations. This role includes conducting appraisals, managing appraisals to completion, and communicating effectively with claims adjusters.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of auto physical damage appraisal experience; body shop experience or familiarity with the industry is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Catastrophe appraisal experience preferred.
- Proficiency with automated appraisal systems (e.g., CCC).
- Knowledge of heavy equipment, vehicle parts, repair techniques, and vehicle construction.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; detail-oriented.
