Job Summary
Assess and settle auto damage claims by inspecting vehicles, estimating repair costs, and coordinating with repair shops to ensure accurate settlements. Handle complex claims using technical industry knowledge while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining detailed records. Maintain a valid driver's license and meet company underwriting guidelines for field work in the Kansas City, KS territory. This role requires flexibility for on-site or remote components and solid mechanical aptitude. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (must meet company underwriting guidelines)
- Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits
- Minimum of 12 months of Auto Damage experience
- Track record of success delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to promptly and accurately settle claims
- Ability to handle complex claims using technical and industry knowledge
- Solid computer aptitude
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Multi-tasking skills
- Effective attention to detail
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing
- Willingness to expand on communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
