Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for the meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to return them to pre-accident condition. Duties include disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicles; dent repair and filler application; realigning frames and chassis; replacing damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; glass and interior repairs; welding and attaching parts; painting and refinishing to factory specifications; and completing work orders within labor-time guidelines. Must read job orders, work with minimal supervision, collaborate with other repairers, and ensure workmanship meets KPIs while delivering a high-quality customer experience. Familiarity with tools and processes such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hammers, jacks, and related automotive repair techniques; adherence to safety and quality standards; ability to inspect vehicles post-repair. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
