Job Summary
Investigate and settle complex automobile bodily injury and casualty claims, including those involving severe injuries, extended disability, and coverage-related litigation. Conduct thorough investigations to determine course of action on assigned files, utilizing technical knowledge to support final disposition. Review coverage, liability status, and damages while documenting policy status and notifying re-insurers on qualifying claims. Prepare claim evaluations for settlement authority and maintain reasonable expense factors. Collaborate with third parties, plaintiff counsel, and leadership to determine necessary injury and coverage investigations. Research case and statutory law to ensure proper claim investigation. Requires 3-5 years of auto bodily injury/casualty claims experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years in Auto Bodily Injury/Casualty claims experience
- Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed claims adjuster
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
