Job Summary
Auto Case Packer Operator on the night shift responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of snack packaging machinery. Duties include reading production schedules, monitoring codes/dates/prices, maintaining and reloading packaging materials, adjusting machine setup and changeovers, ensuring proper bag seals and film alignment, validating weights and product appearance, keeping work areas clean, reporting maintenance issues, following safety and hygiene guidelines, and potentially providing leadership to packers. The role may involve back-up packaging coordination and requires adherence to overtime requirements and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable with shift work and overtime as needed
