Job Summary
Set up, adjust, and operate automatic labeling and packaging machines, including label applicators, case sealers, and cartons, according to product specifications and safety guidelines. Load packaging materials into machine feeders, adjust speed and pressure settings, and monitor production processes for accuracy and adherence to schedules. Conduct regular quality checks to identify defects, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate production records and follow safety protocols while cleaning machines and work areas. Collaborate with supervisors and quality assurance personnel to optimize equipment performance and meet production targets. Work the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) Monday through Friday at Ideal Tridon Group, a leader in clamps, strut, hose supports, and coupling solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One to two years related outside set-up and machine operation experience
- Reach truck forklift experience
- Knowledge of automatic labeling and packaging equipment
- Familiarity with packaging materials, such as labels, containers, cartons, or bags
- Ability to load packaging materials into machine feeders or hoppers and adjust machine settings
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
- Monday - Friday work schedule
- 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm)
