Job Summary
Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports and plan repair work for front end components, doors, frames, and under-body parts. Replace damaged panels, grills, and fenders while hammering out dents and buckles using blocks and hammers. File, grind, and sand body surfaces; operate frame straightening equipment to correct bent frames. Repair or replace interior components, windows, windshields, and sunroofs using plastic filler and soldering equipment. Maintain a clean work space and ensure professionalism in customer service. Requires five years of experience, Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification, and own tools. Full health, dental, and vision benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same occupation
- Experience working with body components, doors and frames, frame straightening, front-end components, interior components, metal cutting, and under-body components
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
