Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. Tasks include disassembly/reassembly, realigning car chassis and frames, replacing or repairing damaged sections and glass, welding and fitting parts, preparing and repainting with factory-specified or equivalent paint, and ensuring work orders meet labor-time guidelines. Requires proficiency with tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers, as well as a thorough understanding of repair methods and safety. Strong focus on delivering a wow customer experience and collaborating with team members to achieve KPIs. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
