Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for accurate assessment and repair of customer vehicles to pre-accident condition. Performs disassembly, repairs, and reassembly using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers; dents are hammered out, filler resins applied, chassis realigned, parts replaced or repaired (including glass), and vehicles prepared and repainted to factory specifications. Plans repairs, prepares cost estimates, and aims to complete work within labor-time guidelines while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Works collaboratively with others in the auto body shop, demonstrates thorough understanding of repair methods, tool usage, and safety; capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and working in a noisy environment with odors. Emphasis on WOW plan adherence, team-centric performance, and brand representation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
