Job Summary
Experienced auto body technician responsible for welding, fitting, gapping, panel fitment, and metal finishing on reproduction 1960s Mustangs and Shelby GTs. The role offers a path for career growth as skills improve, with a 6:00 am–2:30 pm Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, PTO, holiday pay, 401(k) with company match).
Required Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of experience in automotive body work
- Experience in welding, fitting, gapping, panel fitment, and metal finishing
- Very high standard of quality with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarisation with the tasks.
- Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.
- All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad.
