Job Summary
Complete collision repairs per estimate and OEM standards while inspecting parts against the repair plan and flagging discrepancies. Prep vehicles for repair through teardown and reassembly, documenting supplemental damage to request additional parts and labor. Communicate early with estimators and production if quality or timing impacts, then collaborate with painters and fellow techs to keep repairs flowing. Demonstrate professional, safety-focused behavior in all customer, teammate, and vendor interactions. This high-volume shop offers steady workflow, modern equipment, and a leadership team focused on cycle time and doing the job right the first time.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years as a collision/body technician
- Working knowledge of repair vs. replace decisions and all phases of collision repair
- Ability to read repair orders/estimates and follow OEM procedures
- Valid driver's license
- Strong safety record
Desired Qualifications
- Structural/frame experience
- I-CAR certification
- ASE certification
- Collision trade school certificate
