Job Summary
The Auto Body Technician at Boyd Autobody & Glass is responsible for both structural and non-structural repairs of vehicles, including disassembly, repair, and reassembly. Duties include repairing vehicle body panels, assessing and repairing structural components, and using frame equipment. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician, along with MIG and TIG welding skills. A high school diploma and post-secondary education in auto body repair are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
- Valid driver’s license required
- You are able to lift up to 50 Lbs
- You have your own toolbox
Desired Qualifications
- Red Seal or 310B is preferred
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
