Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for the meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. Responsibilities include disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles; realigning chassis and frames; replacing damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; welding and attaching components; performing paint or repaint work; preparing and reviewing cost estimates; and ensuring work meets labor-time guidelines and KPIs. Must collaborate with teammates, read job orders, and uphold the factory-approved standards to deliver a superior customer experience and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repairer
- 4-5 years minimum collision repair auto body experience
