Auto Body Technician responsible for dent removal, panel replacement, welding and cutting to restore vehicle frames and structures; inspect vehicles to determine repair needs and provide accurate estimates; prepare surfaces for painting via sanding, masking, and primer; mix and apply paint to achieve a flawless finish; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; collaborate with team to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations; stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an auto body technician or similar role
- Certification from an accredited auto body repair program is a plus
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repairs effectively
