Auto Body Technician responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning and performing quality collision repairs, communicating repair status with team, and deciding between repair vs. replacement while considering safety, cost, and cycle time. Duties include removing upholstery and trim to access damaged areas, using frame machines, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces with power and hand tools, directing apprentices when needed, and participating in safety meetings. Certifications such as body repair certification and I-CAR welding, plus knowledge of vehicle repair processes, are preferred; candidate should be able to supervise repair personnel and pass a background check. The role is full-time with a compensation range of approximately $65,000 to $167,580 annually and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401k with match, referral bonuses, paid holidays, and a commission/flag pay structure.
Required Qualifications
